Kareena Kapoor Khan has revealed that her son Taimur Ali Khan already watches Harry Potter and Pirates of the Carribean. The little one is aged five and a half. It is to be noted that Taimur already has seen a cricket match with father Saif Ali Khan.
Taimur is fond of football but has shown no signs of wanting to be an actor, Kareena revealed in an interview with Zoom. She said that Taimur’s favourite films are Harry Potter and Pirates of the Carribean. “He keeps watching them,” she was heard saying.
On the sports front, Kareena feels Taimur will be able to figure out which sport he is interested in once the boy turns seven or eight. “The idea is to expose him to everything and then let him take his decision,” the actress said.
While Kareena comes from a family of actors, Saif’s father was a renowned cricketer and mother was an actress. Tiger Pataudi was a legend in cricket and Saif also tried his hand at the sport but leaned towards acting.
Saif also has a sister, Soha Ali Khan, who is also an actress. Meanwhile, Kareena’s father Randhir Kapoor is from the family who founded Bollywood. Her mother Babita and sister Karisma Kapoor have also been famous actresses of their times.
Kareena will soon be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Aamir Khan. The movie, which is an official Indian adaptation of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, will release in theatres on August 11.
The lead actress promises that there won’t be a person who wouldn’t shed a tear after watching their upcoming film. She promises that Laal Singh Chaddha has more or less stuck to the original script.
The movie also marks Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya’s debut in Bollywood. Hindi TV actress Mona Singh will be seen in the role of Aamir’s mother in the film, while Chay plays his soldier friend.
The OTT release date and platform for Laal Singh Chaddha are yet to be finalized. Reportedly, the film will be ready for release on February 11 (six months after its theatrical release).
