Whether it's Geet from Jab We Met or Maya D'Souza from Jaane Jaan, Kareena Kapoor Khan never fails to captivate us with her terrific performances. With the kind of roles and performances she is doing right now, the actress is living a high life in Bollywood and is eager for more projects to come. Besides her acting talent, the actress, who has always been praised for her "good looks, good looks, and good looks," she recently remarked about how content she is in her 40s and doesn't want to go back to being 21.

Kareena Kapoor Khan on embracing her 40s

In an interaction at the ABP Ideas summit, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “Today the audience has become accepting. Age is just a number, it’s as old as you look, you have to be fit, you have to look good because it’s a visual medium so we have to look after ourselves."

The Crew actress went on to say that she is happier and more calm in her 40s and that she doesn't want to be 21 again. "I don’t want to ever be a 21-year-old again, I’m very happy. At 21, I was so much more hyper, and anxious and I’m much calm, and I’m in a happy place in my 40s,” she said.

"I think it has changed because a lot of strong women have done a lot of strong parts in films," said Kareena Kapoor about the fact that female actors are now receiving constant major roles in a profession that was formerly dominated by men. She added that women have delivered movies that have done well at the box office, among critics, the general public, and audiences.

And as we all agree to the fact that the female characters in the films aren't generally as strong as male actors, in terms of this, Kareena said, that prominent ladies like her, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan, and Kangana Ranaut have always strived to support parts that go beyond simply appearing in the movie. "So, all has changed a lot of dynamics on many levels, like demanding a certain role, a certain fee, or position,” she stated.
