According to Kareena Kapoor Khan, the time of funding films based on star power is over, and now it is the quality of the material that will determine whether or not a movie succeeds. The actor claimed that in a society that has been altered by streaming services and the coronavirus outbreak, individuals have been driven to concentrate on scripts due to the realisation of uncertainty.

During an interview with PTI, Kareena said that the actors are on alert right now. Nobody has a clue as to what is going on or where they should be going. The actor stated that to read and write better stuff, let's concentrate on content and scripts. All actors are then secure, and if they believe that they can keep concentrating and focusing on creating projects around stars and their celebrity, then that will no longer be the case.

It is wonderful, as per Kareena, to observe how the audience responds to narratives that they can identify with. The actor further said that people's viewing preferences have altered and evolved as a result of COVID-19. People have come to the realisation that nobody is God and that nothing can be changed. They are all involved in this, and it doesn't matter who you are or where you are; they all want to watch the same things and experience the same feelings, and they are delighted to do that whether they do it in a theatre or online.

Kareena also feels that an actor's presence on social media does not guarantee box office success. According to her, there are no stars today; everyone is a performer. There is no assurance that tomorrow will bring in a film's first weekend gross of Rs 50 crore. Success and fame are irrelevant anymore. Anyone can have 50 million followers, but that in no way elevates one to the status of being this nation's biggest actor.

The Good Newwz actor claimed that this adjustment was desperately needed because there's more and different work for artists. It was necessary. Various performers who are excellent at their craft are entering the industry today.
