Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Varma-starring The Devotion of Suspect X adaptation gets a title and release date; details inside

As we aa know that Sujoy Ghosh and Kareena Kapoor Khan are coming together for a thriller. The movie is an adaptation of Japanese author Higashino Keigo's bestselling 2005 novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X'. Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma will also share the screen space with the actress. 

According to the recent reports, the film now has a title and release date. The film, which is now titled 'Jaane Jaan' will be streaming on Netflix marking the debut of Kareena on the OTT space.

"After considering multiple titles, the makers have zeroed in on 'Jaane Jaan' as they feel it gives an interesting reference to the storyline. They haven’t locked in the exact streaming date yet but are eyeing the fourth Friday of September, coinciding with Kareena’s birthday, which falls on September 21. The makers will unveil the trailer on September 5 at an event in Mumbai," a source informed Pinkvilla. 

The murder mystery "Jaane Jaan" tells the story of a lady who is charged with killing her husband. Despite the huge amount of evidence against her, she is being defended by a lawyer who is convinced of her innocence. The themes of love, treachery, and redemption are all explored in the movie.

Meanwhile, Kareena also has The Crew, also starring Kriti Sanon and Tabu in ker kitty. Apart from this, the actress will also be seen in Hansal Mehta's tentatively titled The Buckingham Murders.
