Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit run into each other, fans ask for Dil Toh Pagal Hai sequel

Dil Toh Pagal Hai, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karishma Kapoor is still a fan favourite movie. Fans were thrown into a frenzy when Kapoor shared a photo with Madhuri Dixit on Sunday. 

Kapoor took to Instagram to share a photo of her hugging Madhuri Dixit, as they posed for a photo. “Look who I bumped into at the studio my all time fav MDji,” wrote Kapoor, sharing the photo. 

The photo immediately started gaining attention on the social media platform, throwing Bollywood fans into a frenzy. Fans immediately took to the comments to share their love for the two actors. Fans were also quickly reminded about Dil Toh Pagal Hai, with some also asking for a sequel to the 1997 romantic flick. 

Directed by Yash Chopra, Dil Toh Pagal Hai came out in 1997 and became an instant hit with the fans. Almost 25 years since its release, the romantic movie still remains a favourite among the fans. 

Dil Toh Pagal Hai had Kapoor and Dixit play two dancers in a musical troupe, who compete for the love and affection of a choreographer, played by Shah Rukh Khan. The movie also had an extended cameo from Akshay Kumar. 

Madhuri Dixit was in the limelight recently, following the release of the web series, The Fame Game on Netflix. “The series calls out Bollywood in the most obvious ways, yet it feels more like a caricature than something you would enjoy while grabbing the popcorn.” reads OTTPlay’s review of the series.
