Karm Yuddh trailer: Paoli Dam and Ashutosh Rana's thriller drama on succession crisis looks promising

The trailer of Hotstar Specials Karm Yuddh starring Paoli Dam, Satish Kaushik and Ashutosh Rana. The Ravi Adhikari directorial is an intense thriller drama that focuses on a major feud over a succession crisis within a wealthy family from Kolkata.

The latest trailer begins with Ashutosh's trailer talking about the dynamics of a family. "Ganit me ek aur ek gyarah hote hai par jab parivar ki baat aati hai to wahi ek aur ek - ek ho jaate hai (Two ones are eleven in maths, while they become one when it comes to family)."

Moving on, the video showcases a brutal massacre of multiple people in an old factory. The trailer then showcases how police investigation leads to questioning the Roy family following the incident. After that, all the members of this prestigious family from Kolkata get introduced one by one. The montage displays how the fight between a family takes up a notch and becomes a war of blood, politics, power, betrayal and legacy within a few sections of the society.

Paoli shared the latest trailer video on her official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "The City of Joy turns into a bloody battleground for the Roys. #HotstarSpecials #KarmYuddh all episodes streaming from September 30 #KarmYuddhOnHotstar (sic)."

Talking about his character in Karm Yuddh, the Sangharsh actor recently shared in a statement, "Initially, to the viewer, it may feel like I am back to playing a dark role, but the character of Guru Shahstri has too many grey shades. He is devious, convincing, and, most importantly, has the cover of mystery that other players in Karm Yuddh do not have.”

Karm Yuddh, which also features Rajesh Khattar, Ankit Bisht, Pranay Pachauri, Soundarya Sharma and Chandan Roy Sanyal in pivotal roles, is all set to stream on Disney Hotstar from September 30.
