Raveena Tandon is gearing up for the release of her second web series, Karmma Calling. After donning the role of a cop in the Netflix series Aranyak, the actor will be getting into the glamorous, seductive, and treacherous realm of Alibaug, where she portrays the role of Indrani Kothari, the queen of society. The series is the Hindi adaptation of the American series Revenge, which ran from 2011 to 2015. Now, ahead of the trailer launch, Disney+ Hotstar has dropped a new tease featuring Raveena.

Raveena gearing up for her series

In the short video, the actor writes in her diary and receives an envelope, which mentions that "Karma" has invited her and she must attend.  The actor sizzles in a red outfit and is getting ready to face her karma with no filter. While sharing the video, it was captioned, "Mujhse takraana? Asaan nahi hai. Bring it on, I will handle it!"

Check out the video below:

Background on Revenge

Amanda (Madeleine Stowe) rents a Hamptons mansion in Revenge and actively seeks out the true criminals to seek justice for her wrongfully imprisoned father. ABC Signature, a division of Disney Television Studios, produced Revenge, for which the actor received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance.

Earlier, in a statement, Raveena said that she hasn't experienced such a persona in a very long time, and she must say that Indrani Kothari believes the world is her stage. There is more to the wealthy lifestyle than meets the eye in Karmma Calling, which delves into several aspects of their lives. Playing the role of Indrani allowed the actor to discover more about her acting abilities, and working with Disney+ Hotstar was an amazing experience overall. Raveena is eagerly anticipating the audience's reactions to this part, which is both unprecedented and never previously performed.

Ruchi Narain is the director and producer of Karmma Calling, which is a R.A.T. Films production with an Indian adaptation. Disney+ Hotstar will premiere the series on January 26, 2023.
