Karnataka State Film Awards 2021: Rakshit Shetty Best Actor, Archana Jois Best Actress

Late on October 3, Kannada TV and Film producer Shruti Naidu tweeted a congratulatory note to actor Pramod for winning a Karnataka State Film Award for 2021. No amount of online search threw up any information, so OTTplay reached out to Pramod, who immediately shared the full list of winners.

The list of films, interestingly, includes a lot less popular mainstream cinema. Rakshit Shetty was adjudged Best Actor for his performance in 777 Charlie , while KGF fame Archana Jois is the Best Actress for #Mute. Pramod is joined by his Rathnan Prapancha co-star Umashree in the Supporting Actor category. 777 Charlie bagged the most awards – Best 2nd film, Best Actor, Best Lyricist for Nagarjun Sharma and Best Editor to Prateek Shetty.
