Karthi to wrap up major portions of Sardar before moving on to shoot for Viruman

Karthi is presently on cloud nine on getting the opportunity to get back together with director Muthiah after 2015’s Komban. The actor is currently working on the major portions of his other upcoming movie Sardar. He will take on the project Viruman with Muthiah soon.

Sardar has been one of the most talked-about subjects of Karthi’s upcoming movies since its teaser dropped on the internet. As we all know, he will be sporting a dual avatar in the movie where one of them will feature the actor in a silver fox-like appearance with long hair. So once he wraps up the major portions of this movie, he will be all set to move on to his next much-anticipated movie Viruman, which will also feature the actor sporting a new look.

Talking about Viruman, this movie also marks Karthi’s second venture with Suriya and Jyothika’s production house, 2D Entertainment. News on Viruman has also been circulating on the internet since the makers announced that director Shankar’s daughter, Aditi Shankar will play the female lead in the film.

Touted to be a village drama, Viruman also features Rajkiran, Prakash Raj, Soori and RK Suresh in pivotal roles. The movie recently kickstarted its production with a puja ceremony, a video of which was posted by the production house on social media. The first schedule of the shoot is expected to commence this weekend. The locations of the shoot have not been disclosed yet.
