First-time filmmaker Arun Kothapalli directs the film which is set amidst a boxing backdrop

Actor Karthik Rathnam, whose career took off on a high with a commendable performance in C/O Kancharapalem, has constantly asserted his worth across a variety of roles in films like Ardha Shatabdham, Narappa, the web show Gods of Dharmapuri, to name a few. He has now signed a new film to be directed by first-time filmmaker Arun Kothapalli. Hrithika Srinivas, niece of actress Aamani, plays the female lead in the film bankrolled by Bekkam Ravinder under Sri Srinivasa Screens.
Bekkam Madhavi and Bekkam Productions present the film. Prudhvi, Kalakeya Prabhakar, Mahendranath, CMR Sharma, Kalicharan Sanjay also essay important roles in the project which went on floors earlier this morning at RK Beach, Vizag. Acting coach Satyanand was the chief guest at the muhurat ceremony where a sequence featuring the leads were shot. Mahendar Chakravarthi had switched on the camera.
Producer Bekkam Ravinder, thanking the guests at the launch ceremony, said that he gave a nod to the script within the first narration and revealed that it is a crime-comedy revolving around a father and a son amid a boxing backdrop. The first schedule, starting today, will go on in the vicinity of Vizag for 10 days while the next schedule will be filmed in Hyderabad. He expressed happiness in roping in a capable cast and crew for the yet-to-be-titled film.
Kiran Mamidi is the art director and Smaran is on board as the composer. Sathish Reddy Masam cranks the camera for the film which will have stunt choreography by Mallesh. Ashwanth is the costume designer.
