Karthikeya 2 Box Office: Nikhil Siddhartha's surpasses the 100-crore mark, and counting

Telugu star Nikhil Siddhartha-starrer Karthikeya 2 is undoubtedly one of the biggest theatrical releases of 2022. The film, which released around the same time as Bollywood big-banner projects such as Laal Singh Chaddha, Raksha Bandhan and Liger, has crossed the 100-crore bench mark, acdording to a news report by India Today. 

The film is doing exceptionally well, especially in the Hindi-speaking North Indian region. According to the same news report by India Today, the film's income has increased its second and third weeks as compared to the box office numbers it had managed to pull in during the first week of its release. 

The socio-mythological thriller's Hindi version has amassed a whopping 30 crores, as per the report. It is said that the film's doing exceedinly well globally as well. 

Karthikeya 2's third-week box office collections is about 4.75 crore INR, and the third week is predicted to earn another 6.25 crore INR, according to Box Office India. However, the same report also suggests that the third week will see a drop of around 45%, which is still decent than how most big-league movies have done so far in the theatres. 

"There will be no competition in this week which will allow the film hold well in the fourth week and it should get to around 25 crore nett before the release of Brahmastra. Karthikeya 2 should comfortably chase down the 23 crore nett of Rocketry - The Nambi Effect," predicted Box Office India, according to a news report by India Today.
