Kartik Aaryan announces something special ahead of Dhamaka release

Kartik Aaryan has taken to social media to announce something special is coming up. The actor shared a photo of him with long tresses and a shaft in hand.

Posting the photo, he wrote, “Aa raha hai kuch ALAG SA. Take a guess.”

The actor will reveal the big surprise on June 20. The image also contained 20.06.21.

The post comes a few days before the actor’s upcoming movie Dhamaka goes for a direct-to-OTT release on Netflix. The big announcement was made in January 2021.

Dhamaka is a movie which was shot in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, in December 2020. The shooting of the movie wrapped up in 10 days.

The Ram Madhvani directorial is backed by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies. Based on the Korean film The Terror Live, Dhamaka also stars Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash in pivotal roles.

Kartik plays the role of a journalist in the movie. In the role of Arjun Pathak, he hosts Bharosa 24/7.

The actor has been making headlines for all the projects he is reportedly sacked out of. A few projects he might have lost out on, are Dostana 2 and Aanand L Rai’s upcoming film.

He is however a part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kiara Advani. The original film featured Vidya Balan opposite Shiney Ahuja with Akshay Kumar as the lead protagonist.
