During a recent press conference, Kartik Aaryan opened up about Ananya Panday's growth and the reunion after 6 years. He praised Ananya's hard work and added, “Ananya has completely evolved. When we worked together earlier, it was only her second film, and she was really nervous. She still gets a little nervous sometimes, but now there is a clear sense of confidence in her art and her work, something that was slightly missing back then. When you start out, you tend to overthink everything."

Aaryan also shared that from then to now, the biggest change he has witnessed in her is the confidence she has gained. He said that along her journey, she has figured out the kind of roles she wants to do and the approach she wants to take. As per Kartik, Ananya now understands the thin line between overdoing and underplaying a scene, and she balances it really well.

“She has truly evolved from the Ananya of 2019 during Pati Patni Aur Woh to the Ananya you see now in Tu Meri Main Tera. You can see it in the teaser, in the song; in the way she carries herself, not just on a film set but outside as well. It’s something many people can’t do easily. She’s talented, she keeps working hard on herself, and that’s a great thing,” he said.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri is a romantic comedy starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday. Kartik plays a 'mumma's boy', Ray, while Rumi (Ananya) is looking for a romantic love story from the 90s, which is completely different from today's modern relationships. The story revolves around the two meeting and their subsequent relationship, which contains a mix of comedy, romance, and glamour.
