Kartik Aaryan reveals Paresh Rawal’s reaction to slap scene in Shehzada: Kheech ke maarna

Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada trailer is out now and it has many moments that leave you surprised. One of them is Kartik slapping veteran actor Paresh Rawal. At the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Kartik revealed how the senior actor reacted to the scene.

Kartik credited Paresh for taking the scene to a new level. The actor revealed that when he heard the scene, he was confused how to give the take. However, Paresh helped him through the process.

The ‘Shehzada’ revealed that he was constantly nervous about hitting the senior actor, even if they were just pretending the slap happened. He speaks about the trust between the co-stars and how timing plays a major role with such scenes.

“He’s king of those timings,” Kartik said, trying to share that Paresh made him feel at ease. As soon as he said, “Aaram se,” the female lead Kriti Sanon chimed in and jokingly said, “Aaram se maarna.”

Laughing, Kartik shared that Paresh told him, “Kheech ke maarna.” The senior actor asked Kartik to stay in the mood of the film. The assurance from Paresh Rawal is what helped Kartik, he revealed at the event.

The trailer shows the story of the changing dynamics between the two characters, played by the acclaimed actors. The scene comes during a high point. Agreeing, Kartik calls it one of the highlights of the film.

Shehzada trailer was unveiled on January 12, 2023 at an event in Mumbai. The movie is helmed by Rohit Dhawan and also stars Ronit Roy, Rajpal Yadav, Manisha Koirala and Sunny Hinduja in pivotal roles.

Kartik’s movie after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is also a theatrical release. This film will be out in theatres on February 10, 2023.
