A video of actor Sunny Wayne performing a fighting video with actor Lukman Avaran has gone viral on social media. There was speculation about the video being a promotion for a film in which both of them play lead roles. Now, Sunny has confirmed that the video was indeed a publicity stunt. During the promotion of his new film, Kasargold, the actor revealed that the video was to promote his other film, Turkish Tharkkam.
According to the actor, the film required such a promotion video since it was shot a year ago. Sunny added that a behind-the-scenes stunt video will be released soon where people will get an actual picture of what happened.
About Turkish Tharkkam
Turkish Tharkkam, directed by Navas Suleiman, revolves around a heated debate. The movie's poster was recently unveiled by Mammootty, with a motion poster released soon after. Along with Sunny and Lukman, Harisree Ashokan, Sujith Shankar, Amina Nijam, and Sree Rekha are also part of the film. Turkish Tharkkam is set to hit theatres in November 2023.

Kasargold, helmed by B Tech director Mridul Nair, is an action drama that also stars Asif Ali and Vinayakan. The film revolves around gold smuggling incidents in Kerala. According to the makers, Kasargold is a commercial entertainer. The trailer features Asif and Sunny facing off as well as some exhilarating chase scenes . The music of Kasargold is handled by Thallumaala composer Vishnu Vijay, while the camera work is handled by Jebin Jacob. Kasargold will hit theatres on September 15, along with Dhyan Sreenivasan's comedy entertainer, Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna.
