Any news regarding Jayasurya's big budget upcoming film, Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer, has impressed his fans and audiences. Finally, the film's makers have dropped its first poster today (August 31).

The first glimpse was shared on the occassion of Jayasurya's birthday. Jayasurya is shown as Kathanar, the famous sorcerer. His mystical appearance heightens the level of anticipation for this fantasy thriller. The poster was shared with a tagline - "Not the tale you know, but the one rewritten by time. An epic reborn, for a new era". 

The actor's fans, however, are upset that the producers have not provided an exact release date. The fantasy thriller is expected to be released by the end of 2025, according to certain reports. With the popularity of fantasy thrillers like Lokah: Chapter 1-Chandra in theatres, Kathanar is anticipated to live up to the hype.

In this film, Anushka Shetty, Devika Sanjay, Vineeth, Sandy Master, and Srikanth Murali all have important parts. According to reports, Anushka would play Kalliyankattu Neeli in the movie. Kalyani Priyadarshan played the same part in the most recent Malayalam movie, Lokah, in which a lot of people were looking for real-life tales and myths of Neeli and Kathanar. As a result, people are excited to see more facts about the informable sorcerer's life in this Jayasurya-starrer.
