Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Phone Bhoot gets a release date

The shooting for Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer Phone Bhoot went on floors in late 2020, and it has been extensively taking place in Rajasthan. Now that the actors have moved on to their respective forthcoming projects, the release date of the horror-comedy is finally out. Yes, Phone Bhoot is set to hit the big screens on July 15, 2022, much to the excitement of the fans.

Phone Bhoot is Excel Entertainment's newest film, directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film marks the first outing of Katrina, Ishaan, and Siddhant together on the big screen. 

Phone Bhoot joins the bandwagon of Stree, Bhoot Police, Roohi and other horror-comedy flicks. The film was announced in 2020 and the shooting kicked off later that year. 

Talking about their other projects, Katrina is currently riding high on the success of her latest outing, Sooryavanshi, which is nearing Rs 200 crore at the domestic box office. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, features Akshay Kumar in the titular role.

On the other hand, Siddhant also had his latest film hit the big screens, which is Bunty Aur Babli 2, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, and debutante Sharvari Wagh. 

His upcoming film is a Shakun Batra directorial, featuring Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. Siddhant will also be seen in Yudhra, opposite Malavika Mohanan. 

Ishaan was last seen in A Suitable Boy, a web series by Mira Nair. In the Netflix streaming show, the actor was paired opposite Tabu, and it dropped in 2020. His upcoming film is Pippa, in which he plays the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta. Pippa also stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. 

Meanwhile, details of Phone Bhoot have been kept under wraps by the makers and the actors.
