Katrina Kaif will be seen in Horror Comedy Phone Bhoot with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter. Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film also features Jackie Shroff and Sheeba Chaddha. This will be Katrina’s first release after she ties the knot with Vicky Kaushal in December 2021 in a fort resort in Rajasthan. Besides Phone Bhoot, the actress will also be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas and the third film of the Tiger franchise, Tiger 3, which is touted as Salman Khan’s grand Diwali release.

In an interview with Anandabazar Patrika, Katrina confessed that she respects the acting calibre of her husband Vicky. “I am scared of working with Vicky. Earlier, I wanted to rehearse a difficult scene of Merry Christmas with Vicky. He took 10 minutes to understand the script of three pages and told me, ‘Let’s do this’. I would take days to get a grip on that scene. That’s why I might just want to take time to get a script in which both of us can give our best,” she said.

Talking about if there is any possibility of insecurities between them because of their same career, she said, “Trust and respect for each other are two pillars of a relationship. If these two things are there then there will be no problem.”

Meanwhile, Katrina also mentioned that nothing has changed on her work front after her marriage. “Nothing changed on the work front because there is no connection between getting married and my professional career. After all these years, I understand that I will not take up films like Zero and Bharat. Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas is one of the most difficult characters in my life. It will be made in Hindi and Tamil. I always wanted to work with Sriram,” the actress said.

However, Katrina did not deny that her priorities keep on changing with time. “I think it is not just after marriage, a woman’s priorities keep changing with time. Vicky and I could not spend enough time together after getting married. He went to Indore to shoot and I got busy with Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas. I kept on thinking about my honeymoon. I wish we could spend a little more time together,” she said.

Elaborating on her Diwali plans, the actress said, “My film Phone Bhoot is releasing and I will want people to go to the theatre to watch the film. There is a Puja at our home on Diwali. And that will be followed by a party with friends.”
