Katrina Kaif refuses she had a hush-hush wedding with Vicky Kaushal: It was COVID-19

2021 ended on a beautiful note – for one of the most underrated Bollywood couples – Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot. While the wedding was a close-knit one with tight security, Katrina has now refused that she had a hush-hush wedding with Vicky. She blamed it on COVID-19.

Katrina spoke to Zoom about her wedding and said that they wanted to be cautious of but this year is much better. “We’re both very happy,” she confirmed.

The actress spoke about the wedding and shared, “More than trying to keep it private, we were restricted by, unfortunately, Covid-19.” She recalled how her family had been affected by COVID-19 and so, the couple had to take the restrictions very seriously.

Vicky recently opened up about the hullabaloo around his and Katrina’s wedding, especially the security there. He joked about the situation. media reportings and memes being created on the news that would be leaked. While on Koffee With Karan 7, Vicky told Karan Johar, “We have a group where we would get these memes every day. We would have a good laugh over it.”

Katrina will also be seen in one of the episodes soon. She arrives with her Phone Bhoot co-stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.

Vicky had been making headlines for playing the lead role of Sardar Udham in the biopic on the freedom fighter. He is now gearing up to play Sam Maneckshaw.

On the other hand, Katrina is awaiting releases like Tiger 3, Phone Bhoot and Merry Christmas. She was also a part of Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. However, that project might just be on hold for now.
