Katrina Kaif shares a special birthday note for ‘best devar’ Sunny Kaushal

It’s no secret that Katrina Kaif, who tied the knot with Vicky Kaushal in 2021, shares a special bond with her brother-in-law Sunny Kaushal. They are often seen hanging out together during family vacations and celebrations. As Sunny celebrates his 34th birthday today (September 28), his bhabhi wished him with a special Instagram post.

Katrina Kaif calls Sunny the ‘best devar’

Katrina took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of Vicky and Sunny in white ethnic wear. “Happy birthday to the best devar (brother-in-law),” the actress captioned the post.

Sunny had earlier told RJ Siddharth Kannan that the sweetest thing Katrina had done for him was when she surprised him on his birthday with a cake two years ago. “I love sneakers so on my birthday two years ago, she got a really big sneaker-shaped cake, my favourite sneakers. I wasn’t expecting that but that was sweet,” he said.

During an interview with ETimes, the actor had revealed that although he was initially a little overwhelmed by Katrina, he soon found her to be very grounded. However, he does not discuss work or take acting tips from her, he added.

Katrina married Vicky in a lavish ceremony in Rajasthan in December 2021. During his recent appearance in Kaun Banega Crorepati, Vicky revealed that he decided the breakfast menu for their wedding, while Katrina took care of the dinner menu, because Punjabis don’t care much about what they eat after 8 pm.

Sunny’s upcoming releases

Sunny was last seen in Ajay Singh’s Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, alongside Yami Gautam. He will be next seen in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, which is a sequel to Taapsee Pannu’s Haseen Dillruba. Meanwhile, Katrina will be seen alongside Salman Khan in Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3.
