Looks like troubles have encircled Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s life at the moment! The popular Hollywood celebrity couple have reportedly been named in a lawsuit that concerns the sale of their $15 million mansion.

What’s the matter all about?

In August of this year, the news outlet 'Us Weekly' reported that singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom found themselves entangled in a lawsuit related to their $15 million mansion sale. The lawsuit was brought forth by the seller, Carl Westcott, who asserted that he was under the influence of "painkillers" when he completed the property transaction. Mr. Westcott, aged 83, went on to state in his legal filing that he "lacked the mental capacity to comprehend the essence and likely outcomes of the contract."

After realizing that he had been under the influence of narcotics during the sale, Carl Westcott claimed that he promptly informed his realtors of his change of heart.

However, the celebrity couple, who have been engaged since 2019, recently allegedly responded with a letter asserting that they were "not prepared to withdraw" from the sale and insisted that he was "obliged to complete" the transaction.

Additionally, the singer, according to a recent news report published in Bloomberg, is also seeking $1.4 million to cover lost income she could have made renting the property.

Reportedly, the mansion consists of 8 bedrooms, and 11 fully functional bathrooms and is located on nearly nine green acres in the sunny Santa Ynez foothills in Montecito, California – an area known to be home to notable celebrities namely Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt, and Ellen DeGeneres.

Well, only time will tell what the future holds for the celebrity couple.
