The recent episode saw Rajendra Gupta leaving the competition of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 after winning 10,000 rupees and hence host Amitabh Bachchan played in the Fastest Finger First round a second time. Following Rajendra, Priyanka Maharshi, a cosmetologist from Jaipur, Rajasthan, won the second round. She and Big B had a lot of fun conversations.

Amitabh Bachchan praised Priyanka's hair in the episode. Additionally, he asked her to show it once. Priyanka revealed to him that she had her long hair cropped just before arriving at KBC. She said that for the previous four years, she had not touched them.

Amitabh Bachchan responded by saying that he married Jaya Bachchan because of her long hair. The Hindi film industry's superstar remarked, "One of the reasons I married my wife was because she had long hair." "Apni patni se humne biyaha ek is wajeh se kiya tha kuki unke kesh bohot lambe the. (One of the reasons I married my wife was because she had long hairs)."

Amitabh Bachchan also lauded the late Lata Mangeshkar and mentioned how long her hair was.

Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan first crossed paths while working on the 1971 movie Guddi with Hrishikesh Mukherjee. Amitabh and Jaya have shared screen time in numerous movies. Zanjeer, Abhimaan, Chupke Chupke, Sholay, and Kabhi Kahushi Kabhie Gham are a few among them. In 1973, they got married.

Abhishek Bachchan, an actor, and Shweta Bachchan Nanda, an author and businesswoman, are their children. 

Meanwhile, the KBC 14 season began on August 7. In the first episode, Big B welcomed notable celebrities who took the hot seat and participated in the game. Aamir Khan, sports legends Mary Kom and Sunil Chhetri, Major DP Singh, India's first Blade Runner, and Mithali Madhumita, the first female officer to get the Gallantry Award were among those who appeared on the show as special guests.
