KBC 14: Amitabh Bachchan talks about some of the quirkiest things Indians do; watch

Amitabh Bachchan’s presence as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati has definitely contributed to the show’s immense success. The host’s delightful monologues always do a fantastic job at holding viewers’ attention with their eloquence, made all the more better when said in Big B’s baritone. The upcoming episode of KBC will see Big B tackle the unique habits Indians have, in his latest opening monologue.

In a new promo for the upcoming episode, Amitabh is heard speaking about how amazing Indians are. “Mazak ke pankh nahi hote lekin hum mazak uda dete hai. Mobile ke per nahi hote lekin hum mobile chalate hai”, says the host.

Big B goes on to talk about the quick fixes we have for every electronic device that gets broken- hit the restart button until the issue gets fixed. We also have a unique unit of measurement, measuring distance not in kilometres or metres, but in the minutes and hours it takes us to get there. When it comes to buying clothes for small children, we make sure to buy them in larger sizes, thinking that they would obviously grow into them. Last but not the least, no matter the level of education, everyone becomes an expert in beating remotes into working condition, when the device ceases to work.

Thursday’s episode of KBC certainly promises to be a lot of fun for viewers. The episode will feature a contestant who works as a paanwala, who has some interesting tales to tell when it comes to the kinds of paan he sells. Big B also takes a gander at making paan as well.
