KBC 15 – Did Suhana Khan fail to answer a question about Shah Rukh Khan on Amitabh Bachchan’s show?

Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Zoya Akhtar, and the team of The Archies recently graced the popular quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15. Hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the latest episode of the quiz show was all about fun and frolic. This episode comes just 8 days after the release of The Archies which marked the debut of starlets namely Suhana Khan (daughter of superstar Shah Rukh Khan), Agastya Nanda (grandson of Amitabh Bachchan), and Khushi Kapoor (daughter of producer Boney Kapoor) in the film industry. Not only this, but the film also marked the debut of Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Dot Seigal, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda in Bollywood.

In the episode aired on Sony TV last night, Suhana was asked whether she knows the names of the accolades won by her father Shah Rukh Khan. She was presented with four options out of which one of them was wrong. She had to guess the wrong option.

Question: Shah Rukh Khan has not received which of these honours?

Options: A) Padma Shri, B) Legion of Honour, C) L’Etoile d’or D) Volpi Cup

Hearing this, Suhana locked option A. Her answer was incorrect. The right answer is option D.

Watching this, Zoya Akhtar and Vedang Raina – who were seated beside Suhana on the hot seat, laughed out loud. Amitabh Bachchan, too, appeared amused hearing Suhana’s response.

Amitabh Bachchan said to the audience, “Beti ko pata nahi hai ki pita ko kya mila hai. Unhe keval itna bataya hai ki joh samne baithe hai, unhone tumhare pita ka role nibhaya hai.” (The daughter does not know what her father has achieved over the years. All she knows is the fact that the one who is hosting the show had once played the role of her father’s father in a film.)
