KBC 16: Contestant Rachit Kumar struggles to answer Rs 6,40,000 question about Boney Kapoor's real name | Can you guess?

Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 is one of the most loved quiz shows on Indian television. The show is available on Sony Entertainment Television and SonyLIV. In the recent episode, Madhya Pradesh police head constable Rachit Kumar appeared on the show, aiming to win money for his mother's boen marrow transplant. He was asked about Boney Kapoor's real name whcih was for Rs. 6 lakh 40 thousand.

The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 showed contestant Rachit Kumar from Madhya Pradesh, a head constable with the MP Police.

The contestant played 'Super Sandook' and managed to answer 5 questions correctly. He earned Rs 50,000 and used that amount to regain his 'Audience Poll' lifeline. The next question was for Rs 6,40,000 and he was asked the real first name of Anil Kapoor's brother, the film producer Boney Kapoor. As he was unaware of the answer, he chose 'Audience Poll' lifeline, and selected Option C) Anish as it was the most voted but it was unfortunately incorrect answer. The correct answer was Option B) Achal Kapoor. With this, Rachit took home Rs 3,20,000 in total.

Rachit Kumar narrates heartfelt story

Rachit narrated a heartfelt incident from his life when he suffered a severe accident, breaking his knee and sustaining seven fractures. During his recovery, his mother selflessly cared for him, helping him with everything from brushing his teeth to serving him food, despite her own challenges. Although her hands were paralyzed and doctors advised him to focus on his own exercises, she prioritized her son's well-being over her own health.

Meanwhile, as KBC will soon complete 25 years, Big B shared a special gift to fans and it was that the registration again was opened and fans can get a chance to sit on the hot seat and play the quiz game with the megastar.
