We meet Gujarat’s Sanjay, who not only won a decent cash prize to support his family but his strong will to enjoy life’s little joys made the episode wholesome. Who is KBC 17’s Sanjay?
On KBC 17 episode 6, Sanjay Degama from Gujarat’s Bhavnagar battled for the hot seat with Jaldi 5 against Sneha Jaware. He soon defeated her and secured the hot seat. During his introduction, Sanjay revealed that he works in a chemical factory as a chemical technician, and his work is quite risky, as he tests various hazardous products to ensure safety. He also shared his wish to build a dream house for his parents and family. He told Amitabh Bachchan that he aims to win around 12 lakh rupees for building a decent house. Sanjay’s wife accompanied him on the game and was quite happy as he kept answering the questions.
Sanjay’s mother is a fish seller, and his father is a labourer. As he narrated his story and financial struggles, the audience became emotional. Sanjay promised to not let his old parents do any more petty work if he won sufficient money. Sanjay and his wife visited Mumbai for the first time, and he expressed his desire to take his wife on a hill station vacation so that she can enjoy snow.
