Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17 has been getting love like previous seasons. The show is available on SonyLIV (OTTplay Premium) and Sony TV Entertainment. Some incidents happen in the quiz reality show, which go viral on social media for either good or bad reasons. One of the recent incidents features a young contestant, Ishit Bhatt, whose arrogant behaviour frustrated host Amitabh Bachchan.
During a recent episode of KBC 17, Amitabh Bachchan witnessed an 'overconfident' young contestant named Ishit Bhatt. Ishit told the host Amitabh Bachchan not to recite the rules of the game to him and added, "Mere ko rule pata hain isiliye aap abhi mereko rules samjhaane mat baithna (I know the rules so no need for you to tell me those)." Hearing this, Amitabh touched his forehead, hinting at frustration.
Ishit has been showing his knowledge and skills while answering the questions even before Big B gave him the options. However, during one quiz, he asked Big B to give some options, insisting, "Arre option daalo (Come on, give me some options)."
When it came time to lock in his answer, he said, "Sir ek kya uss mein chaar lock lagado, lekin lock karo (Sir, not just one, put four locks on it, but do lock it)." But his answer was wrong.
As soon as the clip went viral on social media, netizens started criticising the overconfidence of Ishit.
One user posted, "It's okay if your child has knowledge, but if he doesn't have manners or if he doesn’t know how to talk in front of elders he can never be successful. If I was in Amitabh Bachchan's place, I would slap him twice and then ask questions."

Another commented, "Perfect ending. Arrogance got schooled. Maybe now the parents will learn, raising a brat isn’t parenting, it’s public nuisance training." A third simply stated, "Oversmart kid."
"The #KBC incident with 10-year-old Ishit Bhatt isn’t just about a child’s overconfidence — it’s a mirror to modern parenting. When kids are kept on cloud nine, never taught humility or patience, they mistake arrogance for confidence. Big lesson for parents," read another comment.
