Kiccha Sudeep, Shiva Rajkumar and multiple other superstars from Kannada cinema have taken their customary time off work to indulge in their other main passion, that of cricket. Of course, we speak of the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup or KCC whose fourth iteration is currently underway in Bengaluru and much like in the movies, the stars are dishing out some solid entertainment.

Earlier today, on Day #2 of KCC Part IV, Sudeep's Hoysala Eagles met Upendra-led Wodeyar Chargers for an important contest, which turned out to be a high-scoring game. Batting first, the Eagles hit the ground running with their marquee player Tillakaratne Dilshan putting on a stellar show; the Sri Lankan great belted the first hundred of the tournament to lead his team to a whopping total of 166 in just 10 overs.

More importantly, the Hoysala Eagles refused to give away any wicket to get to that score. Tillakaratne Dilshan struck his century in all of 40 deliveries with his opening partner Darling Krishna piling up an impressive 57 in only 22 deliveries!

The unbeaten pair then took the field with the rest of the team to defend the total and Kiccha Sudeep and co. got the job done with very little fuss. Wodeyar Chargers, who boast former Chennai Super Kings and India batter S. Badrinath as part of the team, mustered only 110 in response to lend the Eagles a 56-win run. This is their second win on the trot after having beaten Duniya Vijay's Vijayanagara Patriots by two wickets.

In other developments in KCC Part IV, Golden Star Ganesh's Ganga Warriors and Shiva Rajkumar-led Rashtrakuta Panthers, too, secured wins on Day #2 in the lead-up to the finale. The final match of the league will be played on Christmas day and is scheduled to begin at 8:30 pm.

KCC Part 4 could be streamed on the Zee5 app and also viewed on the Zee Picchar TV channel.
