Sandalwood veteran actors Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra, and Kiccha Sudeep have reunited for the enterprising Karnataka Chalanachitra Cup, or KCC, with young stars Dhruva Sarja, Ganesh, and Dhananjaya joining them. The upcoming tournament will see the six superstars exhibiting their respective cricketing talents with cricketing icons like Chris Gayle, Brian Lara, Tilakaratne Dilshan, Suresh Raina, Herschelle Gibbs and others too featuring in the third edition of this tournament.
Very recently, the KCC auction event took place in Bengaluru with all the aforementioned superstars (barring Upendra) in attendance and popular TV host/actor Srujan Lokesh anchoring it. Following an interesting auctioning process which saw various artists/players being allotted to the six designated superstars, the men of the hour took the centre stage to discuss the proceedings and also share a few light moments amongst themselves.
One such endearing moment came about when host Srujan Lokesh asked the stars to shake a leg to a song. This would prompt Sudeep to urge Ganesh to reveal his signature step and when Shivanna joined the Baanadariyaalli actor, it was inevitable that the rest of them, too, tagged along. And much to the delight of the crowd present there, the five actors ended up dancing to the very popular Tagaru title track. Needless to say, fans were mighty pleased by this rare sight and their many comments do suggest the same.
The auction event also had many other noted celebrities from the Kannada Film Industry showing up to offer support for the upcoming event. Along with KP Sreekanth, Rockline Venkatesh, Karthik Gowda, Dinakar Thoogudeepa, and Nanda Kishore, who will be serving as the mentors to the teams, the event saw actors Ramya, Sudharani, Anu Mukherjee, Tara, Sharan, and others too in attendance. Popular singer/rapper All OK performed at the KCC auction event.
The third edition of KCC was initially planned to take place in Mysuru on February 11th & 12th but the organizers have chosen Bengaluru as the venue and the tournament will be played on February 24th & 25th.
