Actress Keerthy Suresh and choreographer, director Brindha Gopal (better known as Brindha master) have teamed up for a unique, colourful music video Gandhari, lyricised by popular writer Suddala Ashok Teja. Love Story composer Pawan Ch has composed, arranged and produced the song for which Ananya Bhat has lent her voice. Cinemaotgraphed by Harish Kannan, the music video was edited by Gopikrishnan and Radha Sridhar. The launch event of Gandhari was held in Hyderabad where Keerthy Suresh spoke at length about its making and the association with the team.
"Gandhari is the first music video in my career. It's an experiment and I hope you all enjoy it. Pawan scored a major hit with Sarangadariya and is all set to repeat his magic with Gandhari too. I also thank Suddala Ashok Teja garu for his fantastic lyrics. I am so grateful to Brindha master, she was the first ever choreographer in my life, right in my first grade. To have come this far with her and do a music video choreographed and directed by her is very special to me," Keerthy said.
She further added, "The entire crew, assistants, have worked very hard on this. Shooting a song in two days is no mean task. The team of The Route is so integral to my career, its founder Jagadish is the silent killer behind all the great things that happen. His contribution is so integral to the video as well, they started managing my work in Telugu with Nenu Sailaja and have made a mark for themselves in the entertainment industry now. From me paying him a paycheck, he's come to a stage where he has paid me."
Kumar Gangappan is the art director for the same while the costumes were designed by Archa Mehta and Dinesh Manoharan. Keerthy Suresh was last seen in the sports comedy, Good Luck Sakhi, where she had collaborated with filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor. The film also starred Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ramakrishna, Jagapathi Babu and had music by Devi Sri Prasad.
