We at OTTplay were the first to reveal that he has signed Suriya as the main lead for his next film, which will be made on a massive scale in Telugu. We also reported that Bhagyashree Borse, who made a startling debut with Ravi Teja's Mr. Bachchan, is playing the female lead in this film.
Now, we have some interesting updates about the film’s casting. A source close to the team has revealed that the makers recently approached Keerthy Suresh to play one of the leads. This means the Suriya film will have two female leads, and one of them is likely to be Keerthy Suresh.
The source also adds that director Venky recently met Keerthy in Chennai and narrated the script. She liked the story but has asked for some time before giving her confirmation. If she comes on board, the project will become a hot topic.
Venky Atluri goes big with his next
In all his previous films, Venky Atluri has showcased his heroines exceptionally well. Samyuktha Menon of Virupaksha played the female lead in Dhanush's Sir, directed by Venky, and earned a great name for her performance. The same was true for Meenakshi Chaudhary, who played the heroine in Lucky Baskhar. Both actresses became more prominent after working with the Tholi Prema director.
So, it will be really interesting to see whether Keerthy Suresh joins this big project. Sithara Entertainments, known for super hits like DJ Tillu, Sir, and Lucky Baskhar, will bankroll the film, which, according to reports, will kick off with a massive action sequence.
