Kennedy stars Rahul Bhat as Uday Shetty, an insomniac former police officer who operates under the alias "Kennedy". Long presumed dead by society and even his own family, Uday Shetty lives in the shadows of Mumbai. He works as a secret, ruthless hitman for a corrupt police commissioner, Rasheed Khan (played by Mohit Takalkar).
Kennedy performs this "dirty work" not for money, but as part of a desperate bargain. Khan promises to help him track down Saleem, the notorious mob leader responsible for a tragic incident involving his son in Uday's past.
Set against the backdrop of post-lockdown Mumbai, the film explores a system where legal and illegal lines are blurred. Kennedy spends his days as a quiet chauffeur and his nights as a killer, collecting "memorabilia" from his victims. Haunted by insomnia and the "ghosts" of those he has killed, Kennedy often confounds characters from his past - especially a character played by Abhilash Thapliyal who serves as a physical manifestation of his conscience.
On the other hand, Sunny Leone plays Charlie, a mysterious woman whose presence and history eventually intersect with Kennedy’s violent path to redemption.
