The trailer and posters for Kerala Crime Files 2, which hint at a riveting investigative thriller, piqued the curiosity of the audience. The focus of the web series is an investigation squad led by rookie SI Noble that takes up the missing case of a police officer. The person who disappears is CPO Ambili Raju, a police officer who gets transferred because of his complex ties at several levels. But when Noble digs deeper into the life of Ambili Raju, more evidence comes to light that complicates the case and links them to several other crimes. What went on with Ambili Raju and how Noble and his crew resolve this crime are the main focus of the web series.

The web series consists of six episodes, each lasting more than half an hour. Ahammed Khabeer, who is known for his films such as Madhuram and June, is the director of this web series. Arjun Radhakrishnan, Indrans, Harisree Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Lal, Jeo Baby, Shibla Fara, Navas Vallikunnu, Sanju Sanichen and Sirajudheen Nazar all play important roles in the second season of Kerala Crime Files. Kishkinda Kandam-fame Bahul Ramesh wrote the screenplay for the crime drama, which is being produced by the director's new production house, Monkey Business Cinemas.
