On April 9, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram account and shared a poster featuring him as a Kathakali dancer.

Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh is a courtroom drama. It is based on the book The Case That Shook The Empire by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat. The plot revolves around lawyer C. Sankaran Nair's legal battle against the British Empire following the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Akshay will be seen as C. Sankaran Nair, while Madhavan will portray the role of Neville McKinley, a lawyer representing the British Empire. On the other hand, Ananya will be seen as Dilreet Gill, a lawyer who also fights for justice.
Meanwhile, Kesari Chapter 2 is directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Aruna Bhatia, Adar Poonawalla, Anand Tiwari, and Amritpal Singh Bindra.
