Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, and Ananya Panday starrer courtroom drama, Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, opened strongly at the box office with Rs. 7.75 crore. The film, garnering a lot of attention, seemingly won fans' hearts, as the responses are positive on social media. As per Sacnilk, Kesari Chapter 2 earned more than Rs. 9 crore on day 2 at the box office.
Kesari Chapter 2 tells the story of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair's legal battle against the British Empire to uncover the truth behind the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film earned praise from fans as well as critics.
As per Sacnilk, the film managed to collect Rs. 9.50 crore on day 2, and with that, the film made Rs. 17.25 crore in total as of now. The film is expected to cross the Rs. 20 crore mark on day 3.

In Kesari Chapter 2, Akshay Kumar was seen as a lawyer, C. Sankaran Nair. R. Madhavan played a lawyer for the British side, Neville McKinley, while Ananya Panday played a lawyer, Dilreet Gill, who supported Nair. Regina Cassandra played Sankaran Nair's wife, Palat Kunhimalu Amma. Apart from them, the cast also includes Simon Paisley Day, Alexx O'Nell, and Steven Hartley.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Aruna Bhatia, Adar Poonawalla, Anand Tiwari, and Amritpal Singh Bindra.
