Akshay Kumar's latest offering, Kesari: Chapter 2, is now out in theatres, and it is a huge hit among both fans and critics. Theatre-goers are considering investing money and going to cinemas to watch the film on the big screen, and those who have seen it are counting the days till it would be available on OTT, too. We now have a tentative OTT release date for this one, but terms and conditions apply.

When you can stream Kesari: Chapter 2 on OTT?

Whether Kesari: Chapter 2 manages to beat URI actor Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava theatrical run (third-highest grossing Hindi film) is a question yet to be answered, given how the movie's first-day Box Office numbers are also not out yet. But if Kesari 2 can hold up for even two months in theatres, then the film will be out on OTT by June. It should release around June 20, unless the hype for this one exceeds that of Chhaava, too.

Kesari: Chapter 2's OTT platform

The makers had already revealed that Kesari: Chapter 2's digital streaming partner is JioHotstar. The movie, featuring Akshay, Hisaab Barabar actor R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday in the lead roles, will be out on the platform post its theatrical run.

About Kesari: Chapter 2

Kesari: Chapter 2 shares a newer perspective on what actually happened during the 1919 Jallianwalah Bagh massacre. The same is through the lens of late advocate C. Sankaran Nair, who wrote a book about the events that happened when he fought for the justice of innocent victims who died a brutal death in the Jallianwalah Bagh massacre on the fateful day. The victims, including children of a few months, came for a picnic but ended up breathing their last after being shot, chopped and thrown into a well and into the sea, all because the British wanted to prove a point - that all Indians are and would always be slaves to them. The very message has clearly resonated with the viewers of the film, who have called Kesari 2 a masterpiece. So, have you seen the film yet?
