The trailer for Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan is finally out. The Malayalam film is set to be a direct OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. Dileep is featured in the titular role and is seen as a 60-something-year-old man who runs a driving school in Kerala. He is a family man, with Urvashi as his onscreen wife and two children. The trailer gives a glimpse into Keshu's life and how it turns upside down.

Things change for him when he hits the jackpot by winning the lottery. However, the villagers join in to tame him and even accuse him of hiding something for a very long time. The trailer also features a younger version of Dileep romancing a woman whose identity has yet to be disclosed.

Keshu Ee Veedinte also features Harisree Ashokan, Jaffer Idukki, Kottayam Nazeer, Kalabhavan Shajon, Hareesh Kanaran, Anusree, and Swasika.

Nadhirsha has directed the film written by Sajeev Pazhoor. While Dileep and Dr. Zachariah Thomas are the producers of Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan.

Meanwhile, concerning the title of Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan, director Nadirsha had earlier clarified that the lead character's name is Keshavan. He told the New Indian Express that Keshu is a nickname for Keshavan and there is no mention of Yesu (Jesus) in the film.

The actor-filmmaker is unsure how these controversies arose. However, he assured his brothers who follow other religions that, as an Indian citizen who believes in secularism and a responsible artist, his films will not contain any content that offends other people's religious sentiments.

Meanwhile, Dileep's last movie outing as an actor was My Santa, which hit the screens in 2019. The film, directed by Sugeeth, also featured Sunny Wayne, Anusree, and Kalabhavan Shajohn.

Talking about Keshu Ee Veedinte, the film is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from December 31, 2021.
