KGF 2 Box Office collection Day 12: Yash’s movie shows no sign of slowing down, earns Rs 850 crore

Yash’s period action thriller, KGF: Chapter 2, has been on a box office rampage ever since its release. The movie shows no signs of slowing down, and has crossed the Rs. 850 crore mark at the box office. 

According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, KGF: Chapter 2 has crossed Rs. 880 crore at the worldwide box office. Sharing a global box office chart for the weekend ending April 24, he reported that the movie was among the top 5 most watched movies in the world and that its total gross to be at $114.93 Million (Rs 880 crore). 

The Hindi version of the movie has also pulled in massive crowds across the country, BoxOfficeIndia.com reporting that the movie has Rs 22-23 crore in earnings on Sunday and has earned Rs 314 crore to date. 

While the Hindi version is the biggest movie that has released post-pandemic, it is just the tenth movie to go past the Rs. 300 crore mark and the first since the pandemic. 

The movie also became the fastest movie to Rs. 50 crore at the Kerala box office yesterday according to Ramesh Bala. KGF: Chapter 2 achieved the feat in just 11 days.
