KGF – Chapter 2 advance bookings to open in North India, Tamil Nadu and Kerala tomorrow

The excitement surrounding the release of Rocking Star Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 is mounting by the day. Fans have been anxiously scrolling the internet for any information about when advance booking will begin in Karnataka, even more so after record-number of tickets began getting sold in the overseas market.

Over the past few days, the buzz has been that advance booking in India would start on April 8, even as several exhibitors began opening advance online booking out of their volition. Moments ago, Hombale Films, the production house that’s backed the KGF saga, announced on social media that bookings would open on ticketing sites tomorrow (April 7) for the North India, Kerala and Tamil Nadu market. “#KGFChapter2 Booking opens TOMORROW on @bookmyshow & @Paytm in North India, Tamil Nadu & Kerala,” read the post. Still no word on bookings in Karnataka, but the overwhelming buzz is that it will open shortly after.

It was earlier reported that the first list of theatres in Karnataka would be published on April 8, along with the opening of advance booking. Industry insiders say that even if bookings open, there will be better clarity on the number of shows per day closer to the release date. As of now, rumour is that KGF: Chapter 2 will begin its box-office quest with 4 am shows on April 14, but there’s a possibility of a few midnight shows as well.
