Box Office India reports that the Hindi version of KGF 2 has moved past the Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal with nett figures of Rs. 387.50 crores and stands only behind the dubbed version of Baahubali - The Conclusion

Looks like there's no stopping KGF: Chapter 2 in its pursuit of ultimate glory as the film sets yet another record at the box office. As per the latest numbers revealed by trusted sources, Prashanth Neel's magnum opus has scored big in its third-week box office run and has now become the second highest-grossing film in India. With the gross figures of Rs. 920 crores (approx), KGF 2 is second only to S.S. Rajamouli's 'Baahubali - The Conclusion' which stands at the top of the table with Rs. 1429 crores (reportedly).
As far as the worldwide gross figures are concerned, KGF: Chapter 2 is currently placed really well to become the third-highest grosser across the world with Dangal and Baahubali 2 taking the #1 and #2 spots respectively. The Yash-starrer is likely to beat RRR by the end of the week to take the third spot in the list of highest global grossers and currently boasts of collections close to Rs. 1100 crores (approx.). The 1000-crore mark was recently breached following an incredible run at the global box office.

The recent Eid weekend is said to have further galvanized KGF: Chapter 2 as the film set the record for the second-best third weekend of all time for a Hindi film. Despite credible competition from releases such as 'Jersey', 'Runway 34', and 'Heropanti 2', the Kannada film has held its ground with impressive authority.
Written and directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, KGF: Chapter 2 also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, and many others. The film was released worldwide in cinemas on April 14.
