KGF: Chapter 2 Box Office collection – Yash’s movie crosses Rs 1000 crore mark in domestic market

Yash’s pan-Indian blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 has dominated the box office following its much-awaited release on April 14. The movie, which has already set a number of records, has now crossed the Rs. 1000 crore mark in the domestic box office. 

According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the movie has now grossed Rs. 1000 crore at the domestic box office. He also confirms that this makes KGF: Chapter 2 only the second movie after S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion to reach this impressive milestone. 

Earlier today, ace-director S. Shankar also took to Twitter to praise the movie. Having seen th e movie, he hailed the making style as well as Yash and director Prashanth Neel. 

Amazon Prime Video also revealed on Monday that the period action entertainer is now available to rent in different languages on the platform. The makers or the platform have not yet confirmed when the movie will be available to stream for regular subscribers. 

KGF: Chapter 2, which is helmed by Prashanth Neel, the Hindi version of the movie has also set a number of records in the Hindi-speaking belts. 

“Rocking Star Yash’s fans can rejoice. If he announced his arrival as a pan-Indian star with Chapter 1, with Chapter 2 he proclaims that he’s here to stay,'' reads the movie’s review on OTTplay. 

While Yash reprises his role as the anti-hero Rocky, the movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in important roles. 

The movie’s makers also recently confirmed that the rumoured third part of the movie will not take off any time soon. They also revealed that they are now focused on other projects.
