Indians had been eagerly waiting for theatres to open up so they could relive the magic of cinema once again. With Sooryavanshi releasing, now there are some other Hindi films which have topped the list as most-awaited. KGF: Chapter 2, Brahmastra and 83 are the top three in the list.

KGF, which is originally a Kannada movie, is also being shot in Hindi. The film, starring Yash in the lead role, is the sequel to KGF: Kolar Gold Fields, which became a massive hit when it was released in 2018. The movie is backed by Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment.

Brahmastra tops the most-awaited Bollywood movie as of November 2021. The movie is helmed by Ayan Mukerji and features Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy also make their cameos in the movie which is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

83, helmed by Kabir Khan, is the biopic on former Indian cricket team skipper Kapil Dev. The cricketer helped India win the world cup in 1983, when it appeared almost impossible for the team to get the win. The film is produced by Ranveer’s wife Deepika Padukone, who also plays his better half in the film.

RRR becomes the fourth most-awaited Hindi film for obvious reasons. The movie is helmed by Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. It is on the same scale as the epic saga and better yet, RRR has Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles apart from Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead roles.

Aamir Khan’s Valentine’s Day release Laal Singh Chadha is the last movie in the list. The film is inspired from Tom Hanks’ Hollywood blockbuster hit, Forrest Gump. Directed by Advait Chandan, it stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as the female lead. Naga Chaitanya also makes a cameo appearance in the movie.
