Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar has expressed his love for Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 in his own style. The actor, who launched the trailer of the film with Yash and other celebrities in presence, actually broke into a song to tell people to love KGF’s new chapter. The song, too, was from his own award-winning film, Om.
The track was titled Mehabooba and it became moderately popular among the listeners in not only Karnataka but also outside of it. “I love you, you should love me,” he sang while asking people to watch KGF. For the uninitiated, Om is one of Shiva’s best works till date. He received the Filmfare and Karnataka State Film Award for best actor for the movie.
After crooning the two lines from his song, Shiva then added, “I love KGF 2. You should also love KGF 2.” He wished the movie all the luck.
Shiva also paid a heartfelt tribute to his brother, Puneeth Rajkummar. Puneeth was the most loved and popular star in the Kannada film industry.
Shiva requested a minute’s silence and then said that the show must go on anyway. After that, he unveiled KGF: Chapter 2’s trailer in all versions – Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
KGF 2’s trailer has created a huge buzz not only in Karnataka but across India. After the trailer launch event, fans could not stop gushing over their ‘Rocky Bhai’ (Yash) coming back, this time for KGF: Chapter 2.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 will release in theatres on April 14. The movie will release in all the languages, worldwide on the same day.
