The moment that KGF and Yash fans have been waiting for is finally here. Minutes ago, the production house backing the magnum opus KGF franchise, Hombale Films, announced that the trailer of Rocking Star Yash’s film would be released on March 27, 2022 at 6.40 pm. “There is always a thunder before the storm,” read the post accompanying the announcement about KGF: Chapter 2

While fans were overjoyed that an announcement on the much-awaited trailer has finally come, many wondered why it was being released so late, with just over two weeks to go for the film to come to theatres. The overwhelming sentiment was that the trailer should come out much earlier. At the moment it is not clear if the makers will reveal anything else from the film, given that they had conducted an online poll asking fans what they’d like to see first, with the trailer emerging as the crowd favourite.

Only days ago, the Hombale Films handle had tweeted an image of the KGF: Chapter 2 standees that were being shipped to different theatres across the world. Karthik Gowda of KRG Studios, who also serves as executive producer on Hombale Films productions had also urged fans not to believe information on KGF updates unless it comes from official channels, given that a multitude of fake social media handles had sprung up in recent times.

The film has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda and music by Ravi Basrur, both of who worked on the original as well.
