The launch event promo for Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film, KH234, has been released. The actor-director duo will be reuniting for a film after a gap of 36 years; their last collaboration was the iconic Tamil blockbuster Nayakan. The upcoming film, tentatively titled KH 234, is generating excitement as the makers have announced that a promotional video will be released on November 7. In anticipation of this, the filmmakers shared an exclusive promo from the film's inaugural ceremony, much to the glee of fans.
The crew of KH234
The film, which is bankrolled by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth under Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies, is set to have some of the finest experts working behind the camera.
The promo clip introduced the crew members of the KH 234 team. AR Rahman will be composing the music. Veteran cinematographer Ravi K Chandran will be handling the camera. The unexpected entry of stunt choreographer duo AnbAriv, known for their work in films like Vikram, Leo and Kaithi, suggests that the film might be an actioner. Sreekar Prasad will take charge of the editing. Amritha Ram will be styling Kamal Haasan, while Ambady Ranjith will handle the styling for the other cast members. Eka Lakhani is in charge of the costumes, and Gopi Prasanna will design the film's posters. The promo also featured Anandita Sundar, who is the daughter of actress Kushboo and Sundar C.
The speculated cast members of KH234
The official cast for KH234 is set to be announced soon. It is rumoured that actors Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salman, Trisha, and Nayanthara have been roped in for the film. However, the film team will be sharing further updates, such as the title, which is expected to happen during the promo launch of the film on November 7. The promo is expected to showcase Kamal Haasan in captivating action sequences, with reports suggesting that a body double was used for certain scenes.

While the shoot of Indian 2 has wrapped up, he has three other big projects: Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898AD, H Vinoth’s KH233, and Mani Ratnam’s KH234. The actor was last seen in a cameo appearance (of just his voice) in actor Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj's action thriller, Leo.
