Khadaan: Amartya Ray plays a character in Dev’s ambitious project?

Khadaan’s shooting is in full swing and Dev is busy shooting the film. On Friday, he was spotted at Nonapukur Tram Depot. Along with him, young actor Amartya Ray, who was impressed with his acting skills in 2018-film Uronchandi, was also spotted. According to reports, there is a possibility of him playing a character in Dev’s Khadaan. 

Dev reportedly shot an action sequence here. The makeup van was within the depot so that no one could get a hint. Dev promptly went in the van as soon as the shoot ended so that no one could see him. According to Aajkal Dot In, Amartya was spotted in a black shirt and jogger pants. 

Amartya has recently collaborated with Ajay Devgn in Boney Kapoor’s Maidaan. He plays legendary footballer Chuni Goswami in the film. Besides, he plays the hero opposite Rituparna Sengupta in Chaiti's directorial debut Nevermind.

Amartya said, “The talks are still at the initial level. No one will be happier than me if I can work. I have to take out time. I have to give time to my mother's film. Then I will go to Mumbai. Hence the schedule is important because Jisshu Sengupta is also in the film Khaadan.”

Amartya further claimed that Chaiti saw him not as her son but as an actor in Nevermind. There is a significant age gap between Rituparna and Amartya. But they are a couple in the film. They rehearsed so that this was not an obstacle before the shooting. Shooting of the first part has been done. The second part will happen in March.

Khaadan's shooting is also going on in different places in Kolkata, including Nalban. The second part's shooting will be in March in the Raniganj coal area.
