Neeraj Pandey's Khakee returns, and this time it is set in Bengal. The city of joy also holds a side that isn't spoken about. Neeraj tries to bring that side forth with his series (which is a fictional story, but if it could happen, it would happen in Bengal). Here's the teaser of Khakee: The Bengal Chapter...

Khakee: The Bengal Chapter story

Set in Kolkata, Khakee continues to contribute to violence, corruption and justice. Around the infamous Howrah bridge, there's a business where bullets are manufactured. It is where the violence begins. And of course, bullets are not used each time. In fact, that has the least usage in the series, at least initially.

An introduction to each character

Jeet is seen in the police force with Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Mimoh Chakraborty and Aakanksha Singh. Prosenjit Chatterjee plays a politician, and so does Chitrangda Singh. Ritwik Bhowmik's role remains a mystery but he appears to be a member of a gang, just like Aadil Zafar Khan and Saswata Chatterjee. Pooja Chopra, on the other hand, might just play a housewife.

Khakee's message essentially remains

Jeet is heard saying, "Jab tak kuch badlenge nahi, kuch badlega nahi." Soon enough, we see him in power, while politics also tries to take over. With that, the story of Khakee: The Bengal Chapter begins, and promises a ride worth hopping on.

About the original Khakee

Neeraj Pandey began the series of Khakee with Bihar. Back in 2022, he released The Bihar Chapter with Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwary and Abhimanyu Singh in the lead roles. The series went on to perform brilliantly on OTT, thus paving the way for more chapters (Indian states to explore).

Directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter will also be out on Netflix soon (the release date remains unclear at this point).
