Rubina Dilaik, a TV celebrity and Bigg Boss 14 winner, has now been confirmed as the first competitor on Colors' reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12.
Rubina participated in a few music videos following her stint on Salman Khan's reality show Bigg Boss. She is also well-known for her work in the famous television serial Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
The actor shared her excitement to be a part of this new chapter in her professional life. "I have experienced several hurdles in life that have made me stronger," she told IANS, adding, "I am really inspired and delighted to be on Khatron Ke Khiladi."
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty is expected to return to host and guide the upcoming season's celebrity candidates. Rubina Dilaik's husband, Abhinav Shukla, has also been a contestant on the show in its 11th season.
Munawar Faruqui, a Lock Upp participant, and Rakhi Sawant, a former Bigg Boss contestant, are both said to be appearing on the upcoming season. Bigg Boss OTT competitors Pratik Sehajpal, Rajiv Adatia, and Nishant Bhat are also expected to join the adventure reality show.
The show's production will most likely begin in the later week of May, with the contestants going to South Africa for the filming.
Arjun Bijlani won the most recent season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, which also saw the participation of the Bigg Boss 14 candidates Nikki Tamboli, Abhinav Shukla, and Rahul Vaidya.
Shweta Tiwari, Varun Sood, Divyanka, and Vishal Aditya Singh were the other top finalists on the programme, which also featured Aastha Gill, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Anushka Sen, Mahekk Chahal, and Sana Makbul.
