Vidyut Jammwal is one of the biggest action stars in the country who is known for working in high-octane action movies doing his own stunts. The actor, who was most recently seen in Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha, has now said that he is happy to be defined by action.

"I’m happy to be defined by action. I feel proud of being typecast. It’s not an easy place to be in when you get typecast for being the best at what you do," Jammwal told PTI, as reported by The Indian Express.

He also shared that while he loves all sorts of action scenes, he does not let that alone influence his choice of movies but rather looks for the reasons behind why he has to do these stunts.

Jammwal further said that for him it has always been either fighting for the country in Commando or saving animals in Junglee, as nobody does it, and that in Khuda Haafiz, it is about a common man who has been in a fight.

In the first Khuda Haafiz movie helmed by Faruk Kabir, Jammwal plays a regular man who is forced to race against the clock in an effort to save his wife, who has been kidnapped by flesh traders. Jammwal adds that doing the role of Sameer, a man who was never a fighter, forces him to unlearn a lot of things about fighting as he is playing a man who has never fought before.

"If you are a fan of Vidyut Jammwal, this one is a must-watch. He has trained for Khuda Haafiz 2, and you get to see his efforts come to life. Not only has he improved in stunts but also as an actor," read the movie’s review on OTTplay.

The movie, also starring Shivaleeka Oberoi, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Sheeba Chaddha, is now playing in theatres around the country.
