Khuda Haafiz actor Vidyut Jammwal shared a good friendship with Bigg Boss winner and actor Sidharth Shukla, who passed away last year after suffering a heart attack. His demise was unexpected and was shocking for Vidyut just as much as it was for the millions of fans of the Broken But Beautiful actor.

Recently, during an interview, ahead of the release of his latest movie Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha, Vidyut opened up about how he dealt with the death of Sidharth. He said he had recently found a photo of two from an old fashion show. “It’s not going to heal,” he said, adding that he had learnt a lesson from Sidharth’s mom on dealing with the pain.

He said he had met Sidharth’s mother and her reaction left him with a positive outlook. “Aunty was not crying,” he said, adding that she is normal even now when they talk about Sidharth. She apparently told him that so many people are crying for the late actor and she wanted her son to know that his mother is doing fine, said Vidyut, adding that people can never be prepared for death.

The actor, last year, had shared a video, paying tribute to the Bigg Boss 13 winner. “I love you Shukla,” he had captioned the video that he had shared on Instagram, following Sidharth’s death on September 2.

Meanwhile, Vidyut is excited about the release of Khuda Haafiz 2, which is set to hit theatres on July 8. The first part of the film was a direct-to-OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar and received mixed responses. The makers of the film got into a controversy last week after a song from the film, Haq Hussain, had elements that hurt religious sentiments. The producers issued an apology to the members of the Shia community, who had raised objections against the use of the word ‘Hussain’ and zanjeer blades.
